The U17 World Challenge is heading to the Progressive Auto Sales Arena in Sarnia, Ontario, from Nov. 1-9! The first step in the Program of Excellence, the tournament includes two Canadian teams – Red and White – taking on four international entries: Czechia, Finland, Sweden and the United States.

The U17 World Challenge has produced hundreds of Canadian NHL draft picks since 1986, including names like Sakic, Niedermayer, Iginla, Thornton, Price, Tavares, McDavid, MacKinnon and many, many more. At the most recent NHL Draft, three of the top four picks got their international start at the tournament – Macklin Celebrini (1st), Beckett Sennecke (3rd) and Cayden Lindstrom (4th).
