About Christian Hockey
The origins of the current Christian Hockey stick factory were founded in 1824 in Ayr Ontario. In 1905 it moved its operations to Hespeler (Cambridge) Ontario and produced hockey sticks there until 2022. The company needed to expand and found its new current home in Brantford Ontario.
During its long history, it has been under different ownership – Hespeler – St Mary’s Wood Specialties / Cooper / CanStar / Bauer / BauerNike / Heritage Wood Specialties and now Roustan Hockey.
We have produced sticks for both retail and Custom Pro for the NHL and for many different brand names. (Hespeler / Cooper / Bauer / Nike / Vaughn / Brian’s / Warrior / TRUE / CCM / Sherwood)
Our current owner Graeme Roustan was the former Chairman of Bauer and had the relationship in place for us to deal directly with the factory to build our AMP composite sticks to our specifications. We look forward to this new partnership with the OHA and its members to offer high-end products at affordable prices as well.
