The exciting day for coaches included a number of guests speaker as well as taking in a few Centennial Cup Games
Oakville, ON – with Canada’s National Jr. A Championship in full swing, it was a great opportunity for coaches from across the province to get together.
The clinic was facilitated by former OHA, NHL, AHL, IHL and Canadian Olympic player Darren Lowe. Lowe moved from playing into a long and impressive career as coach of the University of Toronto Blues.
Other presenters included Connor Armour, head coach of the Cobourg Cougars (OJHL) and Mike McIlveen, head coach of the Cambridge RedHawks (GOJHL). Also presenting was former NHL referee, Greg Kimmerly (OHA/OJHL).
The clinic also included:
- Entry to the three (3) Centennial Cup round-robin games scheduled for that day
- Three (3) PD points accumulated for NCCP Certification
The clinic was a success; look for more of these around the province in the future.
