The OHA will be hosting a Development 1 coach clinic in August 2024. The clinic is the initial step required in the NCCP D1 certification process. This clinic is offered with distinct junior/senior flavoured context and expectations.
Cambridge, ON – Coaches within the OHA who are, or will be, fulfilling the role of Head Coach for any PJHL, GOJHL or Senior team must have D1 Certification.
Head Coaches in the OJHL, require the HP1 level of certification, but must successfully complete D1 certified requirements prior to pursuing HP1.
All OHA assistant coaches are strongly encouraged to pursue their training and certification at the Development 1 level.
The 2024 D1 Clinic is being offered in a hybrid format, involving an on-line, live portion and an
in-person portion –
SATURDAY, AUGUST 10th On-line (9am start time)
SATURDAY, AUGUST 17th In-person (9am start time)*
*the in-person portion is being held in Woodstock, Ontario.
