The entry from the “new isle” is especially excited to return to Ontario to compete for the Allan Cup.
“Looking forward to returning to Dundas, last time we were there we lost in OT to the Real McCoy’s,” said Ivan Hapgood, General Manager and Coach of the Clarenville Ford Caribous. “Our team consists of players that are 100 per cent Newfoundland born and bred. We may be out-skilled but we won’t be outworked with this group. Really looking forward to returning and I would like to Thank Don Robertson of the Dundas Real McCoys for reaching out to me. The Allan Cup is a Great Event. “
Clarenville won the Allan Cup in 2011 and were the runner-up in 2013 and in 2014.
